Team Building: Most modern businesses are based on a team work culture and team building is a vital. When it works it can be electrifying and produce exciting and dynamic results. When it doesn't teams can get bogged down by poor communication, personal agenda's, office politics, historical barriers and a myriad of other issues that congeal to produce a spiral of negative actions and influences. Team building can overcome this.
Elan Valley Lodge works with teams to identify underlying behaviours of both team and individuals that enhance, or detract from, team performance. Building a specific team will have a positive result but in the current climate of constant change this is likely to be short term. We recognise that to create a truly effective, long term, team work culture it is necessary to develop team players with portable team work skills that are aligned to the purpose of their organisation.

We recognise that work teams, real or virtual, are increasingly under pressure to deliver more, with less people in a shorter time frame. Yet teams seldom take time out to consider ‘’how we work together’’ as opposed to ‘’what we do’’.
